Liverpool, City battle for supremacy in crucial Anfield showdown

Premier League champions, Manchester City will travel to the Anfield Stadium on Sunday to face title rivals, Liverpool in a crucial league fixture that could take the winner to the submit of the table. 

Both teams are gunning for the league title this season, alongside Arsenal, who currently top the log table.

Liverpool have been impressive so far this season and currently sit a point ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side after 27 games.

The Reds head to the game after beating Nottingham Forest 1-0 in their last league encounter.

Manchester City, on the other hand, have been in scintillating form too.

The Citizens head to the Liverpool game after beating city rivals Manchester United 3-1 in their last league tie.

The reverse fixture of the encounter was arguably one of the most entertaining games of the season.

In contrast, City’s attack has been also good this season, with Erling Haaland and Phil Foden also doing great for the Manchester club.
