He is currently rated as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Aston Villa.
Football Insider however reported that being one of the club’s most prized assets and given the demand for him, the Foxes are eager to extend the contract of the leggy midfielder.
Although Ndidi still has over two years on his contract, as his current agreement will not end until the end of 2023-24, the club feels a renewal is necessary if they are to keep him.
With Arsenal and other clubs competing to sign Belgium midfielder, Youri Tielemans in the summer, Leicester is desperate to keep the Nigerian during the next transfer window.
