A number of them were amused but jokingly said he was perhaps shopping for his BBNaija crush, Erica Nlewedim.

Some others concluded it shows the former BBNaija winner is now dating seriously and the cat will soon be let out of the bag.

The less optimistic fans, however, played down the video, saying Laycon must have gone to the store to pick underwear for his mum and sisters.

Laycon and Erica were very close while on BBNaija Lockdown edition, the former expressed love interest in the latter, but she opted for a more flamboyant housemate, Kiddway.

The relationship between the duo eventually broke down, as Erica got violent with the BBNaija winner and it led to her exclusion from the show.

In a video posted by Erica recently, in which she captioned, ‘We are cool’, she told her fans that they have made up.
