The Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu along with a team of officers arrested scores of Lagosians clubbing around 1am on Saturday, at Lounge 38, Bode Thomas, in Surulere.
The Lounge, along with its customers flouted the safety guidelines and directives of the federal and Lagos state government in the fight to prevent the spread of the second wave of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, that has killed many around the world, which Nigeria is not an exception.
In the same vein, the team also apprehended another set of defaulters, for breaking the imposed 12am to 4am curfew around the Maryland axis.
The Lagos state police public relation officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi quoted the commissioner of police, as saying that he will do everything within the ambit of the law to enforce compliance in the state.
