Burnley manager and Manchester City legend, Vincent Kompany has said he will not feed any speculation amid rumours linking him to west London club, Chelsea.
Kompany, who was a cult hero while he was with the Citizens in the Premier League, has enhanced his reputation as a coach after securing promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
The Belgian in addition to the enviable feat, has also been named Manager of the Year at the EFL awards, prompting assumptions that he will likely end up as the manager of Chelsea.

When asked if he would be joining Chelsea or Tottenham, Kompany told talkSPORT: “I made this decision before even starting the season that I was never going to get involved in speculation.”
The former Manchester City captain went on to argue that speaking about such speculation will amount to disrespect for his current club, Burnley.
“I think the biggest respect you can have is for people you are working with, to show that you are completely dedicated to what they have entrusted you to do. I don’t want to talk about anything else,” he added.
