Klopp also explained why Liverpool lost the crucial derby to city-rivals, Everton, saying the Reds were not good enough on the night

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has admitted that his team can only lift the Premier League title this season if Arsenal and Man City have “bad moments”.
The 56 year old German tactician made this known after their 2-0 derby loss to Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
Goals from Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in either halves ensured Everton secure three points and claimed the bragging rights.
However, the result leaves Liverpool in second place, three points behind Arsenal and one behind Manchester City, who have two games in hand.
When asked if Liverpool can still win the title after the match, the Reds manager said it’s no longer in their hands.
Klopp said: “Arsenal and Manchester City must have a very bad moment.
“I don’t know. I can only apologise for today to the people. We should have done better but we didn’t.”

Meanwhile, Klopp also admitted that his team was not good enough after the loss to Everton put a big dent on their title hopes.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the derby, he said: “I’m very disappointed. We let it happen exactly the game that Everton wanted. Two goals from set pieces. They are really strong.
“We created a lot and didn’t score. We were in a rush, not really clear enough. They scored the second goal with the routine they do all season. They had free kick after free kick, but we weren’t good enough.”
Liverpool now have 74 points, three less than leaders Arsenal and travel to West Ham in Saturday’s early kick-off.
