Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has blamed poor marksmanship for his team’s goalless draw against their arch-rivals, Manchester United on Sunday night.

According to the German tactician, the Reds did not have enough calmness in front of goal during the 0-0 draw at Anfield Stadium.

The result saw Liverpool miss the chance to leapfrog Arsenal and go back to the top of the Premier League table, after the Gunners’ 2-0 win over Brighton earlier in the day.

Klopp’s side dominated the match and pushed for a goal throughout the encounter, but Man United’s defence remained resolute and defended gallantly.

Speaking after the match, Klopp said: “The decisiveness was not there today, not calm enough, too much of a rush.

“When it is that intense, to make the right, calm decisions in the moment is another step

“The way we played disorganised them a lot but we did not see that. They just threw themselves at the ball. That means there is always a free player. We did not see that. That is why we drew the game.”
