Nigerian billionaire, socialite, and real estate entrepreneur, King Mohammed Odeh Adah, popularly known as King Ochacho, has refuted claims that the ₦400 million house he gifted online streamer and TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat (aka Peller), during his wedding to fellow content creator Jarvis, came with strings attached.
Addressing the controversy at an All White Lifestyle Party in Lagos on Sunday, 21 September, the businessman denied the assertions.
Earlier, several bloggers and critics had suggested the wedding gift was intended to secure promotion for Ochacho’s son, the singer Ice King.
However, rejecting the claims during an outdoor interview, the billionaire said, “I didn’t give him the house to come and start advertising my son. No! It’s not because of my son’s music. I just gave it to him from my heart.”

King Ochacho went on to clarify that the property in question is not yet ready and is currently under construction.
”As I speak to you now, the house is under construction. I am trying to put it together to hand over to them,” he added.
He did, however, admit that owing to Peller’s goodwill, he has decided to add another ₦100 million to furnish the property, giving the influencer the opportunity to guide its interior design.
Rationalising his decision as a natural gesture, Ochacho noted that Peller chose to promote Ice King of his own volition, which only motivated him to do more for the TikToker.
