Leader of the United Kingdom’s Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch has described Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a “hero” despite his recent altercation with United States President, Donald Trump.
TheNiche had earlier reported that President Zelenskyy had a heated exchange with his US counterpart, Trump in the White House on Friday, February 28.

Trump and the U.S. Vice President, JD Vance during the meeting allegedly bullied Zelenskyy while discussing.
The US President berated Zelensky as they sat in the Oval Office, telling him to be more “thankful” and saying, “You’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel.”
He also told the Ukrainian president that he either “make a deal” with Russia “or we’re out.”
Despite this, President Zelenskyy has continued to secure overwhelming support from world leaders since the clash.

Wadding into the saga, Kemi Badenoch in a post on her X handle explained that Zelenskyy remains a hero because he was fighting for the Ukrainian people.
She said, “I thought it was quite an extraordinary press conference and we all need to remember that President Zelenskyy is a hero.
“He represents the Ukrainian people’s strength and resistance to an authoritarian regime that is trying to destroy them.
“President Zelenskyy needs all of the support that he can get and I think it is inappropriate to conduct that kind of disagreement in front of the camera.”
Badenoch went on to say the only person who benefits from the altercation between Zelenskyy and Trump is “President Putin”
“The only person who benefits from that is President Putin,” she added.
