Kellyrae, prior to this, had claimed he gave his wife, Kassia N55m out of the N60m prize money he won on BBNaija season 9

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 winner, Kellyrae, has reacted to his wife’s family condemnation of their management’s decision to favour him over their daughter in the just concluded reality show.
The BBNaija star, who is married to another housemate, Kassia entered the competition with his spouse as a pair collectively known as “DoubleKay”.
However, following Biggie’s decision to unpair all housemates and make them compete as individuals, their management threw its weight behind Kellyrae.
Speaking in a post-eviction interview, Kassia condemned the decision, saying it was not the best.
She further added that her family wasn’t happy about the decision of their management to favour her husband over her.
Reacting to his wife’s comments in a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Kellyrae berated his in-laws for disagreeing with their management’s decision.

The show host had asked, “Kassia said her family isn’t happy about your management’s decision to back you to progress on the show ahead of her.”
Responding, Kellyrae said: “Yeah, they are not happy. But they should understand that she is now married.”
Prior to this development, Kellyrae had claimed he gave Kassia, N55 million out of the N60 million prize money he won on the reality show.
While speaking during a live Instagram session alongside his wife, the BBnaija ‘No Lose Guard’ winner said, “The [prize] money is N60 million, I’ve sent Kassia N55 million already to take care of herself.”
Kassia, however, debunked his claim, saying: “To which account [did you send the money]? Why are you lying? You’re lying to your fans after they voted for you.”
Reacting to the rebuttal, he said, “It’s bad network. They [my fans] will not drag me.”
Kellyrae and Kassia dated for ten years before getting married eight months ago.
