Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Thursday joined millions of Nigerians who are celebrating the great feat of Nigerian-born Canadian politician, Kelechi Madu, who was appointed Minister of Justice and Solicitor General for the Government of Alberta, in Canada.
Madu made history as the first African born provincial Minister in Canadian history, and is also the Provincial Secretary and Keeper of the Great Seal of the Province of Alberta.
Atiku said the feat is a proof that “Nigerians are indeed global players with unlimited capacity to impact our world positively.”
Writing on his confirmed twitter handle @atiku on Thursday, the former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections said: “Nigerian-born @KayceeMaduYEG’s appointment as Minister of Justice in Canada further proves that Nigerians are indeed global players with unlimited capacity to impact our world positively.
“I congratulate Mr Madu on his appointment, and I’m confident he will do very well.”
