Nollywood actress and model Peggy Ovire has reacted to rumours of an alleged romance with actor Kachi Nnochiri, stating that her colleague is “happily married”.
She made this known recently in a post shared on her official Instagram page while quelling the speculations.
Her clarification comes just a few weeks after her separation from her husband, fellow actor Frederick Leonard.
Peggy, who married Leonard in 2022, had earlier this year deleted his name from her Instagram bio.

However, the thespian was recently seen at an event with Nnochiri; the pair wore matching outfits and held onto one another as they walked into the venue.
After finding its way onto social media, the now-trending clip sparked romance rumours, with many netizens criticising the movie star for moving on too quickly following her marital split.
Reacting to the viral video, Peggy denied the allegations and disclosed that Kachi is not single.
Explaining why they were holding hands, she wrote: “Kachi is happily married, una don start. He was helping me because of my heels.”
