‘Just call me Harry not Prince Harry’

-

We are about 5 weeks away from the date that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be leaving their positions as Senior Members of the Royal Family. All of the details have been sorted out, including where they will live, how their exit will look for their job positions, their use of the word “royal” and what titles they will have to give up. The couple seems happy and excited to start their new chapter, and Harry seems more than ready already.

The Duke of Sussex, Harry, is back in the UK embarking on some of his last official engagements as a working member of the Royal family. And he seems a whole lot more relaxed and informal, in a good way.

On Wednesday, Prince Harry was set to speak at a sustainable tourism conference in Edinburgh. He’s used to speaking to large crowds on topics that matter to him. But one thing was different this time, requesting one change before he hit the stage.

Just before he walked on, host Ayesha Hazarika told the crowd, speaking of Harry, “He’s made it clear that we are all just to call him Harry, so ladies and gentlemen, let’s give a big warm Scottish welcome… to Harry.”

Just Harry. Cool, down to earth, Harry.
