“Tanzania is the final one, the last one, and because it’s the final one, I’d put everything on that. It’s going to be crazy. My friends from different countries are coming; from Uganda, Kenya, China, the USA, and even Tanzania, and my in-laws from Nigeria, too” – Jux

Singer Juma Jux plans a seventh wedding gig with social media influencer Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywoodian Iyabo Ojo, and would not mind the eighth ceremony or more to honour every significant location that shaped their love story.

“Tanzania is the final one, the last one, and because it’s the final one, I’d put everything on that,” Jux promised, fixing the date for May 28.

The guy is Tanzanian and Priscilla Nigerian – more accurately a Lagos girl plus widely travelled – a rare combination in a love terrain more associated with Nigerian men and especially Ghanaian women on the African continent.

The love story of Jux and Priscilla began after he sighted her on a flight in Rwanda during her business trip.

He is reportedly a big celebrity in East and Southern Africa. Priscilla recounted that he gave his business card to her and told her to text him. She collected the card but did not text or call him.

Nonethless, according to her tale, Jux still found his way around and they began the “talking stage” from there.

Along the line, fellow Nollywoodian and Iyabo’s friend, an inquisitive Chioma Ikoku, had a sit-down with Jux on his plan for Priscilla – to use and dump or for the long haul.

With her findings, Chioma convinced Iyabo (as both women walked for two hours from Oxford Circus to Knightsbridge in London, UK) to let her daughter befriend Jux, with Chioma telling Iyabo how she had grilled the bloke and found his intentions for Priscilla genuinely for marriage.

Iyabo agreed for her only child going East hiking with Jux.

Despite having clocked six weddings, Jux has just disclosed on Instagram he wants even more to fully express his love, but Priscilla’s energy levels have been depleted due to the demands of traditional and modern bridal wear.

“This is the final round, the big one. I call it the final one because my wife is tired already. 5-6 weddings are not even enough for me. I wanted more. I wanted to go to the place where we first met, but she has no energy; she has tried,” he said.

“With my feelings for my wife, six weddings are not enough. I planned to have another wedding with her in Rwanda, where we met for the first time, but she got no energy; she tried.

“She always tells me, ‘It’s easy for you because you’re wearing a suit; you don’t have to go through a lot with dressing.’ I understand her.”

The final wedding celebration is set for May 28 in Tanzania, which Jux promises will be unforgettable.

“Tanzania is the final one, the last one, and because it’s the final one, I’d put everything on that. It’s going to be crazy. My friends from different countries are coming; from Uganda, Kenya, China, the USA, and even Tanzania, and my in-laws from Nigeria, too.

“This month, 28 May, we have a JP reception, like the final one, the big one. I am saying it is final because my wife is tired already.”

Their wedding ceremonies in Nigeria and Tanzania in April garnered internet attention for days for the breathtaking wedding scenes and notable dignitaries in attendance.

Jux believes the grand finale in Tanzania will give Africa a beautiful look, saying, “This is like a wedding/fashion/entertainment. We want to drink, dance, celebrate, and vibe well.

“There will be an after-party after that, too. I am going to announce where to have it. The whole of Africa will be in Tanzania that day. This is a big day for me. I want to see all my friends looking nice.

“Let us show people that Africa is beautiful, let us show people that Africa is the place to be, and I know you cannot let me down, so see you there on the 28th.”

Jux recently released a new single God Design featuring Nigerian rapper and songwriter Phyno.

As of May 7, the God Design video on YouTube ranked No. 1 in Nigeria and Tanzania, 8 in the United Kingdom, and 11 in Canada. It also attained 1 million views after 24 hours of its release.
