Nollywood actor, James Ikechukwu Esomugha, better known as Jim Iyke, has stirred controversy online after claiming medical doctors are not trained to heal.
He disclosed this in a recent interview with TV reality star and host of ‘Echoo Room’, Teddy A.
The thespian during the chat insinuated that making patients to perpetually visit the hospital was more profitable for doctors than healing them.
He added that the health sector is a trillion-dollar business for health professionals.

Speaking during the interview, Jim Iyke said, “There’s a GMO everywhere. The orthodox medicines; the lies. If I say it anywhere, it upsets them [medical practitioners].
“Medical doctors are basically trained all through their career not to heal. It’s big pharma business. If they tell you what to take and they heal you, you’re not a customer anymore and they won’t make money.
“That’s a trillion-dollar industry.”
After the video of the interview made the rounds on social media, it elicited mixed reactions.
While some netizens agreed with the 48-year-old actor, others chastised him for spreading a false narrative.
