Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has been named in the Premier League Team of the Week, following a brilliant performance in the Week 27 fixtures on Sunday.
The Nigerian international earned his place in WhoScored’s Team of the Week after an eye-catching performance in Fulham’s 3-1 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
In the intriguing encounter, the 29-year-old scored and also registered an assist as his team recorded an away victory.

Iwobi’s corner kick was nodded home superbly by Raúl Jiménez for the game’s opening goal.
The Super Eagles attacking midfielder also netted Fulham’s third goal from a counter-attack five minutes from time. The well-taken goal was Iwobi’s third of the season for the London outfit.
The Nigerian was not the only Fulham player featured; his teammate Jiménez was also included in the selection.
With this win, the Cottagers now occupy 9th position on the Premier League table with eleven games remaining.
