Ace Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle has finally laid to rest the innuendo surrounding her marriage to veteran actor and broadcaster, Patrick Doyle, after confirming they are no longer together.
The thespian made the disclosure during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, but didn’t go into details about their split.
“We are officially divorced,” she said.
Their union has been in the news in the past few years. But the pair has kept mum about the crisis in their marriage

In the chat, the 55-year-old revealed she had her first child at the age of 19 but stressed that she had no business being married at the time she did, adding that some things are beyond one’s control.
“When you’re an adult, it’s not a life and death situation…there are some situations that are way beyond your control,” Ireti said.
She added, “The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time talk less of… let’s not even go to the choice of who I got married to.”
Ireti, whose marriage to Patrick produced six children later took to her Instagram page to post a clip of the interview.
“There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. In this age where everything one says is scrutinised and quartered; it takes a certain level of trust to bare intimate details .. we are here now,” she wrote in an accompanying post.
The celebrity couple walked down the aisle in 2004.
