The Independent National Electoral Commission has registered, another political party. It is called the Democratic People’s Congress (DPC) .
In a letter dated 8th July, 2015, reference number INEC/DEPM/DPC/511/11 and signed by the Commissions Secretary, Mrs. Augusta C. Ogakwu,the commission said the Democratic People’s Congress was registered at its meeting on Friday 19th June, 2015.
It further stated that the party constitution, manifesto, logo/flag and the list of the National Executives Officer were also approved, adding that the certificate of registration would be issued in due course.
DPC will participate actively in the democratic process in our quest at building a just society.
