INEC acknowledges David Mark-led ADC leadership team

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday formally recognised the David Mark-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The recognition follows months of internal restructuring within the party, which produced a new team of national officers tasked with repositioning the ADC for upcoming electoral contests.
INEC also confirmed other principal officers in the new executive, including Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Mani as National Treasurer, Akibu Dalhatu as National Financial Secretary, and Professor Oserheimen Aigberaodion Osunbor as National Legal Adviser.
With this official endorsement, the David Mark-led leadership is expected to roll out a nationwide reconciliation and mobilisation drive as the ADC seeks to strengthen its base ahead of the 2027 general elections.
