Athletic Bilbao striker, Inaki Williams, has said north London club, Arsenal, are one of the favourites to win the UEFA Champions League (UCL) trophy this season.
He made this known on Tuesday after the Gunners defeated Athletic 2-0 in a game played at the San Mamés Stadium.
Goals from second half substitutes, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard gave Mikel Arteta’s side the victory against the LaLiga opposition.
Speaking to Movistar after the match, William insisted that Athletic Bilbao did not deserve to be on the losing side because they gave their all.

The 31-year-old went on to warn other teams that they still have seven group games to play, adding that he and his teammates are in UCL to compete.
He said, “The result does not reflect what the match was like because we played a good game.”
“In the end, it is Arsenal, one of the favourites in this competition.
“We fought, we gave it our all, and today it was not to be.
“There are seven more games left, and what is clear is that Athletic did not come here to enjoy this competition, but to compete in it,” William added
