Inah Hussaini: A beacon of transformative leadership

A true leader inspires, influences, motivates, and guides others toward a shared vision. Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini embodies this ideal—not through mere authority, but by building trust, showing empathy, and empowering those around him. Gregarious, adaptable, proactive, and guided by integrity, he stands as a confident, intelligent, articulate, and multifaceted figure deeply respected by the people of his native ward and far beyond.
As the former Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini is vivacious, cheerful, amiable, tall, hospitable, and convivial—qualities that set him apart and propel him toward even greater heights in his endeavors.
Richly blessed with wisdom, astuteness, humanity, and virtue, he brings immeasurable joy to those he serves. Unlike those who exaggerate their own importance, he remains transparent and grounded. No encyclopedia is needed to appreciate his character when compared to more erratic figures.
Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini exemplifies outstanding leadership, marked by proficiency, creativity, and innovation in both governance and humanism. His political journey—from the PDP to the APC—stems from a genuine heart for positive change and a determination to make a difference. Driven by a passion for social justice, he entered politics to resolve community challenges, ensure the survival and progress of his town, and advance the welfare of Kogi State as a whole.
Cosmopolitan in outlook, he rises above primordial divisions. His political involvement is fueled by an enthusiastic commitment to reinvent and rebrand political participation in his native ward, fostering sustainable democracy. He envisions transforming affliction into affluence, criminality into responsibility, conflict into harmony, and gangsterism into conviviality.
His leadership is a rescue mission rooted in humanism and guided by philosophical and ontological realism: the people of Kogi deserve the best, and he is determined to deliver it under the current All Progressives Congress (APC) administration led by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Area has long served as a fertile ground for outstanding individuals, intellectuals, youth, cultural producers, and workers who clamor for change. Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini is committed to responding to this call, leveraging all his endowments to fulfill the people’s aspirations.
Our servant-leader, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, has a powerful ally in Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini, as he pursues inclusion, equity, and good governance in Kogi State. Governor Ododo’s vision returns power to the people, positioning them as true agents of change through training and empowerment. He believes government should play a catalytic role—awakening citizens from complacency, instilling wisdom, and encouraging them to embrace their mission and destiny. This enables them to support the government while taking charge of their future. The ongoing strengthening of multi-stakeholder cooperation among Igala sons and daughters reflects true leadership.
Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini’s leadership dictionary emphasizes participation, rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, consensus-building, equity and inclusiveness, effectiveness and efficiency, and accountability—principles aimed at entrenching open governance and fiscal discipline.
It is both logical and necessary to rally support for Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini for higher state or national assignments. We pray for divine intervention from the Grand Architect of the universe, whose wisdom surpasses all human understanding, to guide his path and ensure the survival and progress of his community.
I also congratulate Rt. Hon. Inah Hussaini on his well-deserved appointment as a member of the APC National Convention Planning Committee. This national assignment reflects his indefatigable spirit and dedication. This is merely a beginning—greater opportunities lie ahead. Amen.
