Big Brother Nigeria season 6 youngest housemate, Angel, has revealed that she grew up thinking her grandmother, who raise her was her real mum.
Recall, she once said her mum had her at the tender age of 16, and her grandmother had to play the role of her mother because her mum was too young to take care of a child.
She had also told housemates on several occasions that she spent a lot of her growing up and teenage years with her grandma and not her mum.
While discussing with Cross yesterday, she told him that she thought her grandma was her biological mother all along and did not know her real mum until later.
“When I was in high school, I went years without seeing my mum. The funny thing is I didn’t know my mum was my mum until I was a certain age. I thought my granny was my mum,” she said.
Cross, who was a little surprised to hear what he was told, later asked her when she knew who her real mum was and she answered: “I think I found out she was my mum when I was probably like seven.”
Angel told her fellow housemates when they got into the house, that she came to the house to find purpose about her life , because she was battling mental health issues which arose due to her upbringing.
She also said she had to drop out of school on two separate occasions, because she was fed up with everything and nothing really interest her, other than her passion for writing and film directing .
