The President, Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, has expressed sadness over the newly deployed security officers to Plateau State.
Reading the list of all the officers posted to the state, he said: “These are all Muslim officers. How can Muslims be posted to go and save Christians? Incentive devils are killing Christians and they posted only Muslims?
“Christians are not strangers in the land. Nigeria is not an Island. It is a democratic state. A government of the people by the people and for the people.”
Oyedepo, while speaking in morning prayer service on June 28, said: “My spirit is angry and any Christian that is not angry with the killings is a bastard because God is angry with the wicked every day.”
He urged members of communities being attacked to rise up and defend themselves.
“You don’t need permission to hit at a robber. Self-defence is not an offence,” he said.
He, however, warned his congregation against taking sides in the killings.
“Let there be no sympathizers in this commission else it will hit on you because the blood of the innocent people will hit on them wherever they are except God had left his position in heaven. Curse be upon them and let the media carry it,” he stated.
