Havertz settles for a move from Chelsea to Arsenal

Havertz has two years left on his contract with the Blues and the west London Club are ready to cash in on the right offer

Chelsea forward, Kai Havertz has told north London club, Arsenal, that he is willing to join them this summer after he was assured issues concerning his terms won’t be a problem. 

This was made known by Italian Journalist, Fabrizio Romano after he provided an update on the transfer saga on his social media page on Thursday afternoon.

According to the transfer expert, Havertz has given the green light to an Arsenal contract bid after positive indications and there is ‘no problem’ with regards to personal terms.

Taking to his Twitter Handle Romano wrote: “Understand Kai Havertz has given green light to Arsenal contract bid after positive indications #AFC.

“No problem on personal terms.”

Havertz has two years left on his current contract with the Blues.

Arsenal and Chelsea remain in contact over a possible deal as the West London club look to cash in on the right offer for Havertz.

While there is ‘no chance’ the Gunners will pay £75million, the Blues ‘will be flexible’, as per Romano.

In terms of other suitors, Bayern Munich are ‘informed but still quiet’, while Real Madrid are ‘100% out of the race’.

Havertz is thought to be a deal worth £250,000-a-week which Arsenal are willing to match.
