Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has asked his teammates to trust their new manager, Enzo Maresca, following their thumping 4-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
He gave the advice on Friday night in a post-match interview with Sky following their second Premier League encounter of the season.
Man City began the season with a 3-0 thrashing by Premier League champions Arsenal in the curtain-raiser, the FA Community Shield.
They then followed it up with a narrow 2-1 win over visiting Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium in their first league fixture of the season.

Maresca’s men’s performances in the two games set tongues wagging as pundits debated their ability to mount a title challenge this season.
However, on Friday night, Haaland was on target twice for City as he and Rayan Cherki masterminded the annihilation of the Eagles.
Speaking after netting his brace, the Norway forward urged his colleagues to trust the system at the club and back their manager.
“We have to trust the system, and we trust Enzo Maresca and what he wants to do,” Haaland said.
