Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has taken a swipe at three English Premier League (EPL) legends and Sky Sports pundits, after they accused his team of complacency.
The Citizens travel to Villa Park on Wednesday to take on fourth placed Aston Villa on the back of conceding eight goals in three straight draws, their worst running in the league in 6 years.
Speaking ahead of the trip, former Premier League players, Micah Richards, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, suggested that the league champions have become complacent after winning Treble last season.

However, responding to the criticism, Guardiola fired back at the three former EPL legends and pundits, asking why Richards and Neville didn’t win four titles when they were playing football.
He also hit out at former Liverpool defender, Carragher, whom he noted never won an EPL title during his playing career.
He said: “Gary Neville knows how difficult it is, otherwise he would’ve won four Premier Leagues in the best period of Manchester United.
“But he didn’t do it. Maybe they accuse us of complacency because they felt complacency (at United). Maybe they felt it. This team so far, no chance.
“Jamie Carragher didn’t win one (title). Micah Richards didn’t win four Premier Leagues in a row. Never, ever. It’s never happened.”
Man City are currently third on the log table and six points adrift of league leaders, Arsenal, who edged past Luton Town on Tuesday evening.
A win for Guardiola’s men in the encounter against Aston Villa tonight will see them reduce the gap from the Gunners to 3 points, however, a defeat will take their host above them on the league table.
