Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has made it clear that he will be watching the London derby between English Premier League (EPL) leaders, Arsenal, and third-placed Chelsea, with keen interest on Sunday.
He shared this on Saturday after his team fought off a comeback from relegation-threatened Leeds United to win 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola’s men started strongly and took a two-goal lead in the first half through Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol.
However, the visitors fought back after the break with goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Felix Nmecha. Foden ultimately settled the encounter in the 91st minute to seal the victory for City.

Speaking after the win over Leeds United, Guardiola admitted his team’s performance was not perfect.
He added that after climbing to second place on the league table, he would shift his attention to the Chelsea and Arsenal match at Stamford Bridge.
“The game was not in the perfect place in the first half, but it should be over for the chances we have and we didn’t concede,” Guardiola said.
“To get the three points after two defeats is massively important for our mood. It’s important to go second and we’ll see tomorrow what happens at Arsenal and Chelsea.
“But it’s important to be as close to the top as possible and to try until the end.”
