England winger, Jack Grealish has revealed why he and his Man City team mates did not engage in ‘boozy celebrations’ despite winning the UEFA Super Cup in Athens, Greece on Wednesday night.

According to the 27-year-old Three Lions forward, Citizens boss, Pep Guardiola, has banned such celebrations and instructed his wards to focus on the next game.

The England international, however, continued partying throughout the summer before the new campaign kicked off.

But with the Manchester club facing a tricky fixture against Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday, Guardiola has warned his squad to tone down their celebrations.

When asked why the player didn’t engage in an elaborate celebration after City beat Sevilla 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in Athens. Grealish told TNT Sports: “Nah, he (Guardiola) put a ban on that.
