Governor assures of safety in Kogi

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has reaffirmed commitment of his administration towards ensuring safety and security for the indigenes and inhabitants of the state.

He also promised that the state government would take a “fight to the enemies of the state.”

The governor said that he was aware of the antics of “those enraged by the audacious move of his administration to destroy criminal hideouts and properties of criminals in the state.”

The governor said that though the backers of the criminals were restrategising, the state was fully prepared to take the fight to them.

He therefore stated that neither crime nor a reign of terror would be tolerated in Kogi state.

Besides, the governor has called for strengthening of the existing curfew in Kogi Central senatorial district and whoever runs foul of the directive should be made to face the severe consequences of their actions.
