Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has appointed movie stars Eucharia Anunobi and Rachael Okonkwo as his political aides.
The governor made the announcement recently in a statement released by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia.
According to the public announcement, Mbah approved the appointment of 101 aides across three categories comprising seven Special Advisers, six Senior Special Assistants, and 88 Special Assistants.

Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi was named Special Assistant on Women Mobilisation for Enugu-North Zone and will be saddled with the mobilisation of women from the area.
On her part, Okonkwo, who is popularly known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka, was appointed Senior Special Assistant on Film and Creative Industry Development and is expected to focus on the film and creative industry in the state.
