Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has allocated plots of land and announced cash rewards for the players and coaching crew of Enugu Rangers following their emergence as the 2025/26 champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The governor made the announcement during a reception held in honour of the team at the Government House in Enugu.

Rangers were crowned NPFL champions for the ninth time in their history after a nervy 2-1 away win against Ikorodu City two weeks ago.
The Flying Antelopes, who garnered a total of 68 points, narrowly beat their nearest rivals, Rivers United, who finished on 67 points, to lift the trophy.
Speaking at the event, Gov Mbah said the players would receive N100 million in bonuses, while members of the club’s management and coaching team would share N50 million.
In addition, he presented Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) for plots of land in Enugu to all players and coaching staff.
Following their impressive feat, the Enugu-based club will now look to make an impact when they represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League next season.
