The ongoing #EndSARS protest in Nigeria has drawn the sympathy of Google in Africa.
It stated that it was in support of the young Nigerians, who were fighting against oppression nationwide.
In a tweet from its Twitter account, the global search engine stated:

“We strongly oppose oppression, brutality, and intimidation.
“We believe a fair and impartial police force is a critical element of a stable society and abuse of power infringes on democratic and human rights.”
