Gateway United of Abeokuta have qualified for the Round of 16 of the on-going Federation Cup after scaling through hard fighting FC Abuja 4-3 via penalty shoot-out .
Tosin Folarin gave the Nigeria National League(NNL) side, the lead in the 38th minute before the Abuja boys drew level in the second half to extend the round of 32 match played at Kayode Olayemi Stadium in Ado-Ekiti …to penalty shoot-out.

Godwin Amen turned out to be the hero of the tension soaked encounter, saving two of the penalty kicks to give Gateway United the much needed victory.
The Abeokuta-based side had sent out Nigeria’s premier league champions, Kano Pillars in the first round of the competition, 2-1 to move to the second round of the 2014 Federation Cup.
