Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has said his successor, Governor Abba Yusuf lacked the capacity to govern, saying he is leading a government of bandits and confusion.
He made this known recently while addressing journalists after a stakeholders’ meeting in Kano.
According to the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yusuf got more federal allocation in six months than he did in eight years.
Ganduje added that despite the increased allocation, the governor didn’t make much impact because his government has been wasteful and reckless.

He further accused Governor Yusuf of focusing on probing his administration instead of embarking on meaningful developmental projects.
Speaking while briefing newsmen, Ganduje said. “When I took over power, I never wasted time probing my predecessor. Governance doesn’t end with one administration. But Abba Yusuf started his government with probes.
“Tell me, what have they uncovered? They’ve received more money in six months than my administration saw in eight years. Yet what have they achieved?
“This government has no grip on governance. It’s like comparing a messenger with a permanent secretary.
“Theirs is a government of bandits, clumsy and confused. They spend recklessly on projects without value for money.”
