HBO just dropped a new teaser trailer for the final season of the show, a 90-second scene featuring Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, and Arya Stark walking in the crypts of Winterfell, where they come face-to-face with statues of themselves.
But fans noticed that not all the Stark children are represented in the crypts. Their little brother, Brandon Stark was missing.
In this new teaser, as Jon, Arya and Sansa were staring at the statues, something makes them turn around. Something very chilling that makes even the feather, originally placed in the hands of Lyanna Stark by Robert Baratheon, turn frosty.
So when the crypt fills with icy mist in the teaser, and Jon and Arya both draw their swords? That’s just their dear little brother, Brandon, arriving on the scene. But it’s just one theory…
Last week, it was Sansa handing over Winterfell to Deaneries. “Winterfell is yours, your Grace,” she told Deaneries.
But fans were arguing that since Bran is now the Three-Eye-Raven, he is not human anymore so there is no real human form to make a statue off.
Whatever it is, fans are waiting with bated breath.
