Barcelona striker Gabriel Jesus has disclosed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta banned him from taking part in first-team training at the Sobha Realty Training Centre before he sealed a move to La Liga during the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian international made this known while speaking during a recent interview with SportyTV.
Jesus ended his four-year spell with Arsenal by completing a cut-price, surprise £8.6 million move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
However, before the move, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta did not select the former Manchester City forward for the Premier League champions’ first two fixtures of this season.

Addressing the saga during his latest interview, Jesus opened up on his last days at the Emirates, insisting he is happy to move to Camp Nou.
He said: “I’m a professional, you know, and then obviously I was training with the group and then from nothing they put me to train away from the group.
“The work with Deco, the president of the club, and my agent was amazing.
“In one day, it was sure that I would have the opportunity to come (to Barcelona). I said yes straight away, no matter what, and I am so happy to be here.”
