The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has aimed another dig at the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
He mocked his predecessor on Wednesday, when the people of Ogbakor Etche paid him a solidarity visit in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
Apparently reacting to Wike’s dancing video which made the rounds on social media last week, the governor took a swipe at the FCT Minister, saying the move was diversionary.
Wike sent tongues wagging on social media on Monday last week when a video clip that captured his dance steps surfaced online.
In the video, he wore a Versace blue street-style coat, reportedly worth over N2 million.

The clip elicited reactions from concerned citizens, who criticized the former governor’s decision to spend a huge amount of money on fashion amid the ravaging economic crisis in the country.
However, while addressing the Etche people during their courtesy visit, Fubara urged citizens of Rivers State and his supporters not to be deceived by the actions of his political foes.
He went on to assert that they only dance in the public but cry behind the scenes.
Fubara said: “Don’t let anybody deceive you. They can come to the media and dance but when they go behind, they cry.
“The truth is that we don’t know how to dance but we say it the way it is and we stand tall anywhere we go.”
