Federal Collage of Education matriculates 2,156 in Potiskum

The management of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Potiskum, Yobe State has matriculated 2,156 students into the National Certificate of Education (NCE) with a call on them to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the institution. Provost of the College, Madu Muhammad, gave the advice  while addressing the newly matriculated students at the college multi-purpose hall on Tuesday morning.

Administering the oath on the matriculating students, oath Commissioner, Abdulrasheed Ismail Sulayman, enjoined the students to take seriously the content of the oath as going against it has consequences. Formally admitting the students into the college, the Provost said that academic activities were never compromised anywhere in the world.

The provost stressed that the students, having being screened,  tested and found worthy to take the challenge of training in the teaching profession to count themselves lucky as the college has manpower to empower them with skills and knowledge by experts that will guide them throughout their teaching life carrier.

He said that the total number of 2,156 students comprising males and  females where formally admitted in the 2017/2018 academic session. He appreciated all stakeholders for their roles in the admission process and urged the students to settle down and face their primary assignments with determination. The matriculating students, parents and management celebrated the events with dances displayed and snap of photographs.
