Rapper, songwriter, and actor Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, has urged people under the age of 30 to resist the pressure put on them by their families, peers, and loved ones to get married.
The activist gave the advice recently while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of The BTS Reality podcast.
According to the ‘Soft Work’ crooner, tying the knot before 30 is not ideal because most people are not emotionally, financially, or mentally ready.

The music star, who is 35 years old himself, went on to argue that those in their 20s are just exploring and enjoying life, and should not be saddled with getting married.
Speaking during the interview, Falz said, “Getting married in your 30s is the best. Don’t let anyone pressure you into getting married before 30. By your 30s, you have gained more life experience. In your 20s, you are still figuring yourself out. Your 20s are for learning, growing, and enjoying life.
“In your 30s, you combine all the knowledge and try to direct your life. So, it is better to wait till your 30s before getting married.”
