The Falconets of Nigeria on Saturday defeated Senegal 2-1 in the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup third qualifying round tie.
Moses Aduku’s side edged the contest 3-1 on aggregate, following a 1-0 victory in the first leg last weekend in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
Kindness Ifeanyi, who scored the only goal in the first meeting, opened the scoring for the Falconets in the 18th minute with a header.

Nigeria doubled their advantage in the 68th minute after Precious Oscar scored from a corner kick.
Senegal, however, reduced the deficit in the dying minutes of an intriguing encounter.
Following the win, the Falconets will now face Malawi in the final qualifying round of the competition.
The winner on aggregate will qualify for Poland 2026, which is scheduled for September.
