What does she do? What talents does she have? Those are the questions on the lips of Nigerians as TheNiche went to town to sample their opinions about her.
Well, here’s what we know about her.
She is neither a singer nor an actress. She owns no clothing lines, perfumery or anything of such hue.
She upstaged Rihanna several times to date Chris Brown.
She was cheated on several times by Chris Brown who has a daughter, Royalty, from another woman while he was dating Karrueche.
“Some say she is a model, but I have never seen her on any runway anywhere in the world” says Alex, a fashion blogger in Lagos. “I do not understand what the hype about her visiting Nigeria for the first time is all about.
“This smacks of neo-colonialism to think that anything or anyone from abroad should be celebrated, irrespective of what they do.”
Chuks, another respondent, knocked those who invited Karrueche, saying the same thing happened when Kim Kardashian came to Nigeria and spent less than 24 hours and pocketed $500,000.
“The Kardashians are not known for anything other than showing their naked bodies on television and social media. If you look at the Kardashian family, they are examples in ruins. Their 66-year-old father got fed up with being a man and decides in the twilight of his days to become a woman. Is that the people you should emulate?” Chuks fumed.
“The same thing is happening now with Karrueche who was ditched several times by Chris Brown. Someone is celebrating her as some goddess because of a failed relationship? Instead of those who invited her making this mistake, they should have invited Chris Brown who made her famous in the first place for a concert and donate the money to charity. It is a waste of money to fly her from United States to Nigeria; for what?”
Despite her split from the singer, the 27-year-old Karrueche, who was seen recently with a date and is visiting Nigeria for the very first time, went clubbing in Abuja with her entourage.
According to witnesses, Brown’s ex-girlfriend seemed to be in high spirits as she mingled with her fans, signing autographs and taking selfies.
She was said to have danced to Chris Brown’s music.
