Everton hold Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park

Everton and Tottenham drew at Goodison Park, leaving both clubs  10th and 9th respectively on the EPL log table

Everton hosted North London side, Tottenham, at the Goodison Park in a game that saw only two shots on target throughout the match. 

The visitors dominated ball possession but were unable to hit the target throughout the game, it was the Toffees who dominated goalmouth action but had only two shots on target too.

Tottenham took control in the latter stages of the first half, but Harry Kane’s cross to Sergio Reguilon was wasted by the defender.  

It was largely the same pattern in the second half, as both teams were unable to get their shots on target, as only two shots from Everton hit the target in the entire match.

Everton was awarded a penalty when Richarlison was brought down in the penalty box by Spurs Keeper, Hugo Lloris, but VAR reviewed and canceled it 

Mason Holgate’s initial yellow card for dangerous play was withdrawn and replaced with a red card in the 92nd minute, leaving Everton with ten men. 

Both teams were unable to score and the referee brought proceedings to an end with both teams losing grounds on teams in European places.
