An aide to Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, Mukhtar Maigamo, is in the middle of a rape allegation barely two weeks after the son of his principal managed to come out of one.
An activist in the state, Zainab Ameen, alleged that the aide of the governor has threatened to rape her if she doesn’t stop criticising Governor el-Rufai.
She corroborated her claim by sharing a screenshot of the threat message the aide allegedly sent to her Twitter inbox.
In the message, the aide allegedly told the activist to prepare herself for a sexual bout if she failed to desist from criticising Governor el-Rufai.
On the Twitter timeline of the aide, he retweeted a post which alleged that Zainab made the allegation to gain attention and money.
The rape allegation against the El-rufai’s aide may come as an embarrassment to the Kaduna governor whose son threatened to rape the mother of a twitter user after a political debate two weeks ago. He later apologized after series of bashing from Nigerians.
