Public sector doctors in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT on Monday began an indefinite strike over what they described as the refusal of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to meet their demands which both parties previously agreed on.
The Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory Administration (ARD-FCTA) reached the decision at a Congress on Sunday, according to an official of the association, George Ebong.
He explained to journalists in Abuja on Monday that the strike is not targeted at Wike or any other individual but against the failed health sector in the FCT.
