Ondo State House of Assembly has listed at least three allegations of gross misconduct against the state’s deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

It was gathered that the Deputy Governor is under investigation for approving the sum of N300 million for the purchase of a bulletproof SUV vehicle for his personal use.

The approval was allegedly given while the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu was away in Germany recuperating from an ailment.

It was further learnt that Aiyedatiwa ordered the N300 million to be sourced from the Palliative fund which was disbursed by President Bola Tinubu to cushion the impact of fuel subsidy removal.

There are strong indications that the lawmakers hoped to fast track the process and remove the governor from office in a matter of days.

The clerk of the Assembly, Benjamin Jaiyeola, has been directed to write the deputy governor on the allegations against him.
