Demme, however, linked Osimhen’s decision to remain in Turkey to the love shown to him by Galatasaray’s fans.

Hertha Berlin midfielder Diego Demme has advised Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to leave Turkish giants Galatasaray and move to either the English Premier League (EPL) or Spanish La Liga.
The former German international urged his former Napoli teammate to make the move during a recent interview with R.org.
Osimhen initially joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli two years ago before the Turkish Süper Lig giants signed him permanently in 2025.
The 27-year-old won back-to-back Süper Lig titles with Galatasaray and was linked with a move to several top European clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Man United, Juventus, and Atlético Madrid.

While urging Osimhen to take the next step, Demme suggested the forward is currently staying in Turkey because Galatasaray fans like him.
He, however, advised him to move to Spain or England where he would gain “more visibility than he currently has in Turkey.”
Speaking during the chat, he said: “I think Osimhen is very happy at Galatasaray because he likes the fans and they like him, but I still want to see him play for one of the biggest clubs in Europe in a league like La Liga or the Premier League.
“I think he has to do it because he is a really good striker, and he would have more visibility than he currently has in Turkey.”
