Paris Saint-Germain winger, Ousmane Dembele, has appreciated three of his former clubs after emerging as the winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or on Monday night in Paris, France.
TheNiche had earlier reported that Dembele beat the likes of Barcelona forward, Lamine Yamal and PSG team-mate, Vitinha to win the most prestigious individual prize in football.
The French international was rewarded with the prize after an outstanding 2024/25 season in which he scored 35 goals and provided 16 assists across all competitions.

His performances were central to PSG’s historic campaign, as the club lifted the UEFA Champions League for the first time, alongside winning the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de France.
Speaking while receiving the award from Brazilian legend, Ronaldinho, Dembele thanked French club, Stade Rennes, Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund and La Liga champions, Barcelona for nurturing him and helping him to become a world class player.
He said, “Thank you to all the clubs I have played for: Stade Rennes, Borussia Dortmund, and the club I always dreamed of playing for, Barcelona.”
