Comedian and former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), Adedayo Aderombi, better known as DeeOne has sent tongues wagging on social media after claiming popular TikToker, Peller is more relevant in the Nigerian internet space than Nollywood star, Genevieve Nnaji.
Speaking in a recent episode of Pulse ‘Hot Takes podcast’, the controversial comedian argued that not being social media-savvy is affecting the brands of some Nigerian celebrities.
According to him, celebrities with mysterious personalities don’t trend on social media and rarely make the news.
Buttressing his point, the reality star claimed that TikToker, Peller, is now more relevant in the Nigerian internet space than actress, Genevieve Nnaji.

DeeOne said, “Genevieve not talking much on social media is not helping her. Genevieve not posting on social media every time is reducing her brand. Let me rephrase it — anybody who is not posting constantly is not top of mind.
“What makes her [Genevieve] different from other actresses? Number one from when? Since which year? Peller right now is more relevant on the internet space in Nigeria than Genevieve Nnaji.”
After the interview made the rounds on social media, it elicited mixed reactions from netizens.
While some agreed with DeeOne, others lambasted him, saying it was disrespectful to compare Peller with the ace actress.
