Afrobeats singer and record producer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has revealed his biggest fear in life, urging God to give him the ability to quit music when the ovation is loudest.
The ‘Electricity’ hitmaker expressed his fear in a candid video broadcast, which recently made the rounds on social media.
According to Davido, he dreads the scary possibility of becoming irrelevant as a musician, having witnessed other celebrities who once held sway fall from grace.
He went on to reference Portugal football star, Cristiano Ronaldo, who he noted is being shaded for crashing out of the World Cup despite his achievements.

The 33-year-old artist went on to state that if he could, he would build a therapy centre for celebrities who were once successful but now unsung.
Speaking in the now-viral clip, Davido said: “If there is one thing I could build, I would build a therapy centre for people who were popular and very successful. Because it is crazy to be on top of the world and the next moment you are not.
“Even in football, you win the World Cup, Champions League and other trophies and people still don’t think it is enough. For instance, look at my good friend Ronaldo – after everything he’s done for football, they still laughed at him for exiting the World Cup.
“That is my greatest fear. I have worked so hard for me to come and spoil it with something. I pray to God every day to show me the right time to pack it up.”
