Ex-Fulham midfielder, Danny Murphy, has praised England striker, Bukayo Saka, after putting up another superlative performance in Arsenal’s defeat of Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
Murphy hailed the Arsenal youngster, while analysing the match on BBC’s Match of the Day.
According to him, Saka is key to the success of Mikel Arteta’s side because he scares defenders to death.
He also said he was instrumental in the win against Villa, which ensured the North London club stayed top of the Premier League (PL).

Although the two goals that won the match were scored by Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli respectively, Saka provided the assist for the consequential second goal.
He said, “Saka was so sharp, there was a tweak in his game, we know he’s direct and loves going past people. But tonight he was much narrower and nearer to the goal,”
He went on to praise his ability to influence the game, saying the winger gets into the right places at the right time even if he doesn’t get a goal.
“He was looking to get into areas to affect the game and score goals. He missed a couple of chances, actually but he was in the right place. I think Mikel Arteta has been working with him.
“He just kept impacting the game. He was the key player in Arsenal’s moves because he scares defenders to death.
“Arsenal needed someone to produce a moment of magic and he did that. Most of Arsenal’s best work came through him. He looked back to his best, it was a terrific performance.” Murphy added.
Saka will hope to continue his impressive form for Arsenal when they face Manchester United in their next game on Sunday at Old Trafford.
